Garrett Martin

Garrett has been with Double Eagle since 2013 and previously served in the same role at Double Eagle III.  Since joining the team, he has held various roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President of Engineering & Planning at Double Eagle II and Reservoir Lead at Double Eagle I.  While at Double Eagle, he has overseen the development of more than 550 horizontal wells and over $3.5 billion in development capital.  Development activity during his time at Double Eagle has included up to 7 horizontal rigs and 4 completion fleets with production levels reaching 140,000 gross BOEPD.

Prior to joining Double Eagle, Garrett was employed in operational and technical roles for Concho Resources Inc. and Devon Energy Corporation, where he focused on vertical and horizontal development of unconventional assets in the Permian Basin and East Texas.

Garrett graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Fort Worth Wildcatters and serves on the board of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association and Brazos Midstream III.

Garrett lives in Fort Worth with his wife and children.
